The vaccination card is handed to you with the dates and the next vaccination plan, and we schedule your first check-up appointment together.
The first 72 hours are an adjustment period: a quiet corner, fresh water and regular meals of the food it is used to are enough. Make sure it eats at least 3 meals a day and keep it away from too many visitors and noise. Our WhatsApp line is open for every question. We are with you from the very first night.
A few minutes of gentle brushing a day protects coat health and strengthens the bond between you. At delivery we explain our breed-specific brush recommendations and what to watch for during shedding periods, and we share our written care guide too.
We recommend not bathing with water for the first month so immunity can settle; you can use puppy cleaning wipes instead. When the first bath is due, we plan the trio of warm water, puppy shampoo and thorough drying together.
Yes, our puppies receive starter-level pad training on our farm. If you set up the same routine at home from day one (a fixed pad spot plus rewards) most little ones adapt fully within a few weeks. We share our step-by-step guide at delivery.
Short periods alone (4 hours at most) are fine with the right setup: a toilet pad, fresh water, food, its bed and a few safe toys should all be in the same area. Just message us for our tips on gradually getting used to being alone.
Our puppies grow up on Royal Canin Mini Starter, and we recommend continuing with the same food for the first weeks. If a change of food is needed, we plan a blend spread over 7 to 10 days together so digestion is never disrupted.
Small breeds are sensitive to sudden temperature changes: do not let them sleep in the draught of an air conditioner or fan, give them a warm core area in winter and keep them entirely away from cigarette smoke. We recommend avoiding short coat trims during seasonal transitions.
Stay away from open areas until the combination vaccine programme is complete (usually weeks 12 to 14, with your vet's approval). Until then, short 'world tours' in your arms are wonderful for socialisation. Your puppy gets to know the surroundings without touching the ground.
